Goodey Gallery
Located in the heart of historic downtown Ellensburg, the Goodey Gallery is the newest edition to the rich local art scene. Named in honor of the late Dr. Darwin Goodey, a founder of the Western Art Association, the gallery is the new public face of the WAA. Early in 2011, the WAA board of directors made the decision to begin a new chapter in our history. Having maintained a business office inside the Clymer Museum for nearly 40 years, it was determined that the WAA needed a more visible presense in our community—and what better way to acheive this, than opening our own gallery!
Currently staffed by our board and volunteers, the gallery hours are weekday's, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m,. and Saturday 12 noon to 4 p.m. Due to the nature of operating with a volunteer staff, we apopreciate your patience in the event of a unscheduled closure. Please feel free to call before your visit to ensure that we are open.
Check back often, or sign our guestbook to receive information about upcoming exhibits, workshops and other special events.
